Beaches in Rhodes

The beautiful beaches are the biggest reason why Rhodes is still such an incredibly popular destination. The eastern side of the island is lined with fine beaches, they start already in Rhodes town and don't end until you get down to the southern tip. Western Rhodes is barren, and the beaches are nowhere near as good as on the east coast. In addition, it is often windy on the west coast, which means that there can be big waves. My three favourite beaches are Tsambika, Stegna and Pallas.
