Agathi beach in Rhodes |
Agathi beach is located before Feraklos Castle near the village of
Haraki. Personally, I think Agathi is one of the nicest beaches in
all of Rhodes, maybe even the absolute best. The reason for that is the
crystal clear water, the golden yellow sand and the feeling of being on
a small island. For example, there are no hotels here at all.

The beach is extremely shallow and is perfect for families with small children. Just as it is on Tsambika beach, there is a lack of a really good tavernas. Of course, there are places to eat, but they are not terribly cosy. It's a bit of a shame on such a good beach. |
Agathi is a very child-friendly beach.
Agathi beach is located approximately 35 kilometres south of Rhodes town. You get here with your own vehicle or by bus from Mandraki harbour in Rhodes town. The bus stops in Haraki and from there it is a short walk.
