Pallas beach in Lindos on Rhodes

Pallas beach is part of Lindos beach and it is actually the same beach, although with different names. But there are some differences, and the main differences are that Pallas beach is more child-friendly than the main beach, and that there are better tavernas at Pallas beach. Another difference is, and it is negative, is that it is more crowded between the sunbeds than on Lindos beach.

Lindos beach, or Main beach as it is also called, is very child-friendly, what makes Pallas beach even more child-friendly is that it is located in a small bay of its own where the wind is almost always calm, and that the sea is usually calm as a Greek yogurt. The fact that the beach is shallow is also a big advantage. I can say that Pallas beach is Rhodes' most child-friendly beach.

At the far end of the beach there is space for those who do not want to rent sunbeds.

As I said, it is very crowded between the sunbeds that stretch all the way up to the tavernas. And speaking of taverns, I can warmly recommend Alexis Restaurant, which has incredibly good food and fantastic staff. Last time we were here we were amazed that they were so service oriented even though it was the end of the season. They should have been tired of people so late in the season, but it was just like we were the first guests of the year.

You can get to Pallas beach in the same way as to Lindos village and beach: by bus, car or excursion boat. The buses stop above Lindos village and from there you walk down a long hill to Lindos square, from there you turn left to get to Lindos beach, and then follow the beach until it ends. There is also a path down to the beach from Lindos village. If you come by car, you must first find a parking space, which is not so easy. The easiest way is probably to go here with one of the many excursion boats. They add where Pallas beach begins.
