The 60 best islands in Greece in 2025

Here are the Greek islands presented as Kalimera's (the Swedish version of Kalispera) readers voted as their personal favourites in 2025. Note that the voting was completely unscientific and that the result only reflects the voting readers' opinions. There are around 90 inhabited islands in Greece. Here are the islands that came in 1st-60th place.

We had a similar vote in 2015 and in brackets you can see which place each island ended up in then. Three islands dropped out of the last poll: Arki, Marathi and Paxos and three new islands therefore entered the top list: Evia, Kythera and Limnos. What is surprising, or perhaps not, is that the islands at the top are largely the same as 10 years ago.
