There are more than 70 beaches on Milos according to the tourist office
in Adamas. That may be true, I have not counted them, certainly there
are many beaches and most of them are amazing.
For many years ago I was commissioned by Aftonbladet (a Swedish
newspaper) to list the ten best beach islands in Greece, and I chose
to place Milos in first place. Accordingly before Skiathos
and Naxos that
is considered by many to have the best beaches in Greece. The reason why
I chose Milos was due to the enormous variety. You will understand why
when you have been there.
