Beaches on Folegandros

The first time I was on Folegandros, I thought the beaches were pretty mediocre. It was early in May, so it was not surprising because the beaches had not yet been cleaned. I think differently now, the beaches are of good quality and the water is just wonderful.

The most popular beaches are Vardia in the port, and Angali located approximately at the middle of the island. Nudism occurs, especially at the small beaches near the port and at the beaches of Katergo, Agios Nikolaos and Livadaki.
