There are three villages on Folegandros: Karavostasi (port),
Chora and Ano Meria. It lives only about 80 people in Karavostasi,
and it is fairly dead outside the tourist season. Chora and Ano Meria
are two totally different villages, both architecturally and in terms
of tourism.
While Chora is one of the most charming villages in the Cyclades,
Ano Meria is one of the archipelago's most scattered villages: the houses
seems to be spread out just anyhow. In the lack of Chora's alleys and
cosy tavernas, Ano Meria offers its visitors other temptations, like silence
