Villages on Kefalonia

Kefalonia has twelve villages with more than 500 inhabitants, in addition there are many small villages, some so small that you hardly notice them. The largest village (or town to be correct) is Argostoli, the next largest is Lixouri, followed by Sami. I think that Assos is the nicest village, another gem is Fiskardo. Most villages are located at, or close to, the coast. The inland of Kefalonia is mountainous with no villages. Here I introduce some of the villages.
