Mykonos' greatest gift to mankind is the fantastic beaches. Few
islands can compete with Mykonos in terms of first-class beaches. There
is no island in the Cyclades that beats Mykonos, not even Naxos
that is widely known for its beautiful
beaches.
The beaches are not only excellent, they are also extremely popular
and therefore often overcrowded. There are some exceptions, like
Agios Ioannis and Agios Sostis, where exploitation has not
reached as far as, for example, at Super Paradise where the sun
beds stand in eight rows!
