I think that the beautiful nature and the many nice mountain villages
are Samos' most important sights. But of course there are also other
interesting things that you must not miss on Samos. The Temple of Hera,
for example, is considered to be so historically interesting that it is
on the UNESCO World Heritage List. I don't agree with that.
My favourites are the archaeological museum in Samos town, the
waterfall in Potami and the fine monastery of Panagia Spiliani above Pythagorion.
Pythagorion also offers many interesting ruins from antiquity.
