The village of Siana in Rhodes |
At the foot of Rhodes second highest mountain, Akramitis, lies the rather pleasant village of Siana. The village is located approximately 65 kilometres southwest of Rhodes town, near the village and castle of Monolithos. The nearest beach is the relatively unknown Fourni beach, which you can read about via the link at the bottom.

Siana is a popular excursion destination, many come to shop for the village's specialities: textile handicrafts, yogurt, honey, olive oil and souma.

Souma is made from grape juice and can be compared to raki. Tastes fantastic, some think, others compare the taste to jet kerosene. Just like when it comes to raki.
