Xi beach in Kefalonia

Xi beach is located on the peninsula of Lixouri. Here the landscape is different from everywhere else on Kefalonia. There are almost no mountains, it is flat and moonlike and in places it looks volcanic. Easiest way to get here is by car ferry from Argostoli.

If you turn left at the village of Soulari you will arrive at Megas Lakos beach which further on is joined together with Xi beach. To get to Xi (which is the nicest part of the beach), continue to the village of Mantzavinata where you turn left.
