Getting around on Agathonissi

If you want to move around you have to go on shanks's pony. You do not need a map when you go exploring, the roads are few and the distances are short.

Map of the island of Agathonissi in Greece.

Agathonissi is a very small island and the distances are short.

Two roads starts out from the port, both starts with a killer uphill slope. One road leads to Mikro Chorio, and the other to Megalo Chorio. From Megalo Chorio, the road continues to the small fishing hamlet of Katholiko (where there are fish farms), to Poros beach and farther to the ruins of an ancient settlement, which you can read about here.

HIKING ON AGATHONISSI

I have never tried hiking on Agathonissi, at least not a real hike. Sure, I've walked a lot, but only in the eastern parts of the island.
