Hike between Katapola and Chora

The hike between Katapola and Chora is easy and you can't get lost. Admittedly, the hike goes uphill all the time, but it never becomes difficult to walk. In other words, this hike is also suitable for inexperienced hikers. Of course you can start in Chora and go downhill as well.

 

The hike between Katapola and Chora on Amorgos starts in Xilokeratidi.

The hike starts in Xilokeratidi, which is part of Katapola.

 

We usually go up to Chora and then go the same way back. Otherwise, you can take the bus back to Katapola. The hiking trail, which has number two (out of eight hikes), takes just over an hour to walk. It starts in Xilokeratidi which is the far part of Katapola. There are signs showing where the hike starts and the trail is well marked with red markers.

The hiking trail, which has number two (out of eight hikes), takes just over an hour to walk.

The hike goes between ancient, and very beautiful, stone walls.

 

Hiking on Amorgos in April and May are the best months.
