Agia Kioura beach in Leros |
As far north as you can get on Leros lies the small beach of Agia Kioura, which is named after the famous church just above the beach. You should definitely not miss the church. And while you are in the neighbourhood, you can take the opportunity to go for a swim here.

The beach is small and consists of sand. A lonely tree is the only shade available. Agia Kioura beach is popular with Greek families, so if you come here on a Saturday or Sunday, you can expect that here is a lot of people.

No taverna. The nearest taverna is at Blefoutis beach which lies a few kilometres east of Agia Kioura.
