Accommodation in Tinos

As I wrote in the text of Tinos town, it is in Tinos town that most tourists choose to stay. There are not as many simple family pensions as it is on many other Cycladic islands. However, there are a lot of hotels, especially along the waterfront. One can of course also stay out of town, and still be reasonably close to town, like in Agios Fokas and in Kioni. Pyrgos and Panormos are two good options if you are looking for peace and quiet.

There are quite a wide range of accommodation. Nevertheless, it can sometimes be tricky to find somewhere to stay. If you are coming in August you must book in advance, especially on 15 August when every square meter is booked. It may also be worthwhile to pre-book if you arrive on a Friday or Saturday since Tinos is a popular destination among mainland Greeks.
