Langades, Markos, Sunny & Polemi in Kos |
One of the Greek archipelagos' longest beach begins after Paradise beach in southwest of Kos. The beach extends as far as you can see. Should I be correct, and I will, there are different beaches, but only to the names. There are no big difference, except the names, between them.
From left to right: Polemi, Sunny, Markos and Langades.
The first beach is Langades beach but it is called Banana beach. Beach number two is Markos beach and Sunny beach comes as number three. The last beach is Polemi beach but it is generally called Magic Beach. As if it were not enough, the far end of Polemi beach is called Exotic beach. And that part of the beach is Kos' official nudist beach. So if you like to skinny-dip, head to Exotic beach.
Langades (Banana) beach.
Markos beach. |
You do not have to walk along the water (it would be a very long walk) to reach the beaches, there are roads to all beaches, and they are well signposted. All beaches have some kind of serving, either taverna or canteen. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent.
Sunny beach.
Polemi, or Exotic, beach is popular with nudists.
Polemi is the official nudist beach of Kos.
If you think other beaches in Kos are overcrowded, you will always find space on one of these beaches. |
