Most people who travel to Kos go on a package-holiday and usually they stay in Kos Town, Tigaki or Marmari. If you are travelling independently, I recommend you to pre-book your accommodation, to search on spot is difficult. Package hotels dominates, many of the rooms have been pre-booked since long by tour operators. There are few traditional pensions and almost no "rooms". We always stay in Kos Town. Mostly because of the cosy evenings and that the range of good restaurants is fantastic. If you want to book in advance, which most people do these days, you will find links to selected hotels below.
