Easter on Amorgos. Hikning to Agios Theologos.

We rented a car from Thomas and drove to Langada to hike to the monastery of Agios Theologos. We have been to their many times and the monastery has become of a good friend to us. The landscape is always beautiful here, but my goodness, this time it was beautiful as in a dream. So many flowers!

View of the valley from the monastery. Mount Krikelos is almost always covered by clouds. In the upper right corner you can see (if you squints) two windmills, they are at a place called Machos, which we will return to another day.

We met an old man on the way back to Langada. He was fascinated by Camilla's pictures, which this particular walking mostly consisted of macro photos of flowers.

When we said goodbye to the old man, we made a detour and came across this figure. We named it AT.

Every night before we went out to eat, we walked our "round", which means that we went from the beginning of Katapola to the end of Xilokeratidi, and back again. This night was no exception. The picture is from Xilokeratidi.
