Easter on Amorgos. Hike to Profitis Elias.

Every morning I had the privilege to go to the bakery. This morning I met two cats who have learned to fish from a car tire.

After breakfast, we made another hike, this time to Profitis Elias where we met a couple from the Czech Republic, who was in Greece for the first time. They would definitely return to Amorgos, they said. Of course!

The weather was so good that we almost every night could sit on our fabulous patio and read books before we went out eating. We used to go out after Express Skopelitis had arrived to Katapola.

The sunset were as always something extra in Katapola.

In the evening there was a party in the church. Everyone was there. When Jesus resurrected at 00.00 the bells started ringing and the fireworks popping. What a commotion there was! Then people went into the church again. We went home and pecked eggs and ate Easter soup on the balcony.
