Kerveli and Klima beach on eastern Samos

On the easternmost corner of Samos there are a bunch of nice beaches, including Psili Amos 1 and the small beach of Posidonio. The scenery is really beautiful on this side of the island, and people like to stop along the way to take pictures.

Before reaching Posidonio (which is a must when you are on Samos), you can make a detour to Kerveli beach which is reached via a long winding road lined with greenery and views.

Kerveli is a small cosy beach with small pebbles and gravel. The beach is one of the quietest and least exploited on Samos. Many Greeks go here on weekends to laze on the beach and to eat lunch at one of the tavernas. There are a couple of pensions here for those looking for peace and quiet.

There are plenty of shady tamarisk trees along the beach.

Above the beach are several hotels and pensions.

I haven't lived in Kerveli myself, but I would really like to. Nafsika Villas looks amazing so probably I would have chosen to stay there.

If you turn right before you reach the extremely beautiful bay of Posidonio, you will soon reach Klima beach. Klima is narrow and covered with medium-sized pebbles, both on shore and in the water.

It can be difficult to get into the water without water shoes. It is somewhat easier to get into the water at the far end of the beach. There is a café and a taverna right by the water. There are also some jetties from which you can jump or dive into the wonderful water.
